Psychologists met in Shelters and Advisory Centres

Psychologists working in shelters and solidarity/advisory centres came together for the first time at a workshop organized by the Mor Çatı  The workshop was organized with the assistance of the Turkish Psychological Association and it was held at the foundation’s headquarters in Galatasaray.

The needs of psychologists working in the field of trauma and violence against women, the importance of strengthening and supporting their work and the need for psychologists to develop relationships with other workers were discussed and problem areas were identified. The meeting was carried out within the scope of Mor Çatı’s “Women Building Bridges for the Prevention of Violence Against Women“ project, which is funded by the Turkey Delegation of European Union.
